New Year, new life

Ok, welcome to the first post of the new year!

Alright, before flooding me with questions (YES i know you all have a lot!!!)
I would like to tell you all why i finally updated my blog. Everyone knew that i left the blog vacant last year. This was due to academic work in school.

7 days a week, 6 days in school. 9am to 11pm. LOL.

But this sem not so bad. the start of the term was tattered with my addiction to Dota. but it got better as i dawned upon my mistakes. Yeah, a friend called Yuze who was a total slacker in sem 1, reminded me. now i see his potential man, when he work hard. he has a bright future ahead.

Another factor was a new friend i made, called Syafiq. we never had been in the same class before. But, somehow, fate made it possible for us to meet and he guided me well.

Thanks to all, i was able to steer my devastating effect of term 1 to a fruitful one.

Another reason, was that my computer was down since last year. Imagine. Starting MSN takes you half an hour! sending an instant message is another 15 minutes. when that time passes, my computer auto restarts.

My dad, mum and brother chipped in to buy a new computer. And yeah, it is good. So i shall protect it from now on! this also means more posts!

The final reason is simple. I did not know wat to blog. even when i had free time in school i rather play dota. my blog just did not seize my soul. haha.

Now its the semester break. a final break for us. I can proclaim that i am year 2. received results just now while attending the briefing for the competition to add art to the new bridge at marina bay. Yeah, its really nice, based on DNA design. twisting bridge.

Project 1 - C
I am glad for this one. For Project 1A , i got D+ , and project 1 A was meant to represent 70% of the total scores. But i buckered up for Project 1B, to score enough to push this up to C.

Architecture Design Theory - A
I am really surprised here. Did not expect this. But i guess i scored on my presentations to keith. haha

Language and Culture: Japanese - A
Ok, this is another one of the unexpected grade. i was like so OMG. haha. I am able to understand basic japanese and speak. But no more than that. ok.

Creative Thinking - C+
Really really disappointed for this one. Expected an A. I dunno what happen. haha. sometimes things are really unexpected.

Drawing Fundamentals - A
Ok, i expected a distinction. haha. but this shows that peggy thinks that my drawing has that small flaw i need to correct. And i think so too.

Basic Video - B
This was the grade i had foreseen. so ya.

Semester 2 GPA - 3.25
Semester 1 GPA - 2.79
Cirmulative GPA - 2.92

YAY! slowly. i am climbing to my expectations. i hope i maintain 3.25 or maybe 3.5. haha.
