Memento Mori


finally an update after afa.

yeah after afa was sitex.

in the total of the 2 weeks, i lost abt... 1000 bucks off my bank account.

amazing right.

so now im scrimping and saving now.

also, i have got to more sensible abt my spendings now.


the title of this post, is a latin phrase that i came accross in one anime

mememto mori, which stands for " remember that you are still mortal "

how true.


while i spent this whole week of block leave suffering the fever and cough,

i was hit by a sucker blow.. just 2 days after praying for my family, mainly for my mum and brother's safe trip to thailand and travel there,

my mum disclosed this info to me

" your dad has 7 or 8 years to live if he continues to take medication for his heart problems, thats what the doctor told me. "

i certainly didnt see this coming.

8 years is definitely damn short.

i was never close to my dad, though i can tell he is a good dad.

based on what my mum always emphasises.

yet this good dad of mine will be gone before too long

this also had made me made up my mind of my future.

a future that i was still thinking has now been solidified.

i am not going to further study anymore.

its gonna make my family run into debts definitely.

so im gonna work after ns.

damn.
