Its the 2nd issue of H-WEEKLY and we have enjoyed a tremendous amount of support over the past few days. WE thank all our loyal servants. No, i mean our loyal supporters. We hope that you will continue to support our publications. We may charge a small nominal fee for reading this newspread, as H news is hard to get by. (I hear from my shanghai gays that they heard abt H!!!)

h-LIFE

So this week, our team was hot on the track of H, who by chance is also our chief editor. It was an extremely busy week for him, hence the bonus issue that was promised over the weekend was never actually delivered.

H grabbed his chance on friday, when mokweiwei (mww) asked him if hes going to the dinner later. H put his good acting skills to good use here. We witnessed quite an amazing scene when he replied, "No, what dinner?"

Immediately, the boss sent the receptionist to H's desk and cordially invite him to dinner later.
Being the gentleman that he is, H accepted the late offer. It was a great night, as our production team sneaked into the dinner. It was a grand al fresco affair at a restaurant at outram(we were so drunk that we couldn remember the name). It was quite a lavish event, if you count free flow red and white wine, more than 5 individual waiters serving you, buffet spread european cuisine, and a crowd that included the industry people ;

the founder of singapore architecture - we cant rmb the name either.
william lim , architects, ura, blah. After dinner, H had a ride back home by his colleague who lives at bedok north too. weekend was back at work for H, and over the next few days, H had lunch with his usual lunching partner on monday blues, yc, and also lunch with his colleagues for 3 days straight.

It was such a busy week that H was not able to attend link camp meeting. The week ended off today, as we found out that H was going to receive his pay tomorrow, which is going to INCLUDE claims and OT. (that essential means he is going to treat the production crew a dinner.)

This is the end of a very special, abeit busy week for H, and we hope you enjoyed the juicy chunks of H NEWS!

It has been a thrill to ride through this week of H weekly with you guys. (yes im pointing to the crew, and of course my loyal followers.)

We look to bring you more entertainment, and possibly tickle a funny bone in your spine, or maybe 2. We are also open to any suggestions and ideas that can improve our article. That is of course to be received by hockie, read by ah-hock, vetted by -y h-, suggested by our special correspondent who has yet to write an article, and finally to be approved by H myself.

We cannot guarantee that 100% of the comments will be approved, but i promise at least a 1%.

To commemorate my 350th post, i shall start a weekly, + a bonus weekend issue on weekends im free, for your weekly dose of H, and hock related news. It is of course, inspired by mr. ms's india times while hes in india now, and of course a temptation to get back to writing for the masses. Here we go!

h-LIFE

This week? No. I rather say its today since H-WEEKLY starts today. Alright, today was one of the better days H has has since the start of SIP. H did not yawn in the morning, nor in the afternoon, of course not in the evening either. Richard did not come to office again this morning, so had time to finish up on his stuff, and Winnie's stuff.

Lunch was the best lunch (H) had, as he finally had a companion, lots of thanks to yc, whose office is just 2 blocks away. Finally, he found kopitiams, which is of course the favourite haunts of ah-hock, our mood forecaster. Did not bring money out, which was in the bag, but luckily had enough to pay for meal. Affairs after lunch was great, as the work was completed, and the final task was interesting - drawing out the mannequin schedule.

Using autocad to draw humans are not H's forte, but nevertheless he has done it. The day started and ended with H bleeding from inside his ears, god knows why. Maybe he kept his ear plugs for too long, or maybe a bevy of good looking girls screamed at his ears.

This is the end of his short yet "exciting" day.

Hoshi no tobira is literally translated as doorways of stars, and the song translates a mood which is dark at first, but slowly becoming clear as if the stars are guiding your way through the night. It is a song that is perfect on the ears for people into emotional yet, spiritful song. I give it 5 stars.

Collide by Howie Day
Collide is a pretty old song, but it is a song that marks any sad occasion. It makes good listening on days where you had a quarrel with your girlfriend or wife, but you will grow out of it when you are upbeat. It deserves 3 and a half stars.

I realised i always posted bad negative stuff or good positive stuff in entries. so today im gonna mix both of them.

the past week, ive been working (zzz) , sick while trying to go donate blood again, end up 3 days later play soccer.

soccer was good as i finally showed some form. i thought i had more stamina and could last longer, maybe it was cos i had good teammates.

after soccer on sunday, i had the usual terrible headache + sunburn, cept tat sunburn ended fast next day, but the headache raged me for 3 days.

resulting in monday blues, tuesday torment, and today it went off finally.

work on mons and tues was terrible. on monday, the hr announced tat boss (mww) was giving a treat and asked for preference of either fri or sat dinner.

she asked everyone except for me. even asked the new colleague whose first day at work. somemore in front of me. sometimes i feel if the company knows of my existence. i get ignored. not exactly ignored, but u get my feeling.

nvm, i'll persevere, though still hope on fri something happens. 2 weeks + of lonely lunch is tortorous. evry day i dread lunch. its so lonely. im almsot a mute at work.

tuesday was worse. i felt really pain in my head, and my work was bad bad bad.

i was told by winnie i made a terrible serious mistake and i felt all guilty abt it. doing details but not paying attention to details.

i felt as if it was sch man. i came here to improve, not to maintain. that day, i really cmi, so went home after 6.30.

today was kind of better. first thing morning, richard sms me he not coming, sick. that gives me time to finish/start doing on my load of work. alas, i did spend 4 hours on a single detail. it really satisfies me and im proud of it. after lunch abit jaded as usual, but i did ammend all my mistakes on the previous load, and i was pretty satisfied. i think i satisfied winnie too, though she has yet to see the stuff when i left.

its a long day tml, 4 drws haven convert/draw + another 4 drws left sections.

but i came here to learn right.

im gonna prevail.

friday13th looming

sotml's the friday of doom. where many friends of mine get enlisted.

and also my work day again@!

actually im not tat superstitious.

the past 3 days had been hell to me.

but as the days go by, i think im beginning to cope with the job better.

more and more is expected from me everyday. starting they give me everything and i just had to mainly copy and paste.

now it has evolved to such a stage that he and she just throw the drawings to me on my desk. no dimensions or so. minimal annotations. and off i go, draw out sections and plans.

but i kinda like it.

at least its not that boring.

i get to learn, through hard way.

my drafting gonna improve too.

though design aspect, i don think i learnt anything yet.

wholeday in office, i hear them talking about gfa issues. haha. guess tat in sg tats really impt.

today had a wonderful day. ate alot. almost late for work @@!

but of cos i wasnt late.

did not yawn today! amazement at myself. and i did lots of work today.

oso my boss behind me was in a meeting most of time today had a chance to chat to yi er.

if he was behind me or mww behind me i think i'll get screwed. upside down inside out.

its a nice day. and im gg slp soon.

CAP of the week

so one week has gone and past, and im still alive.

went for work on saturday, amazement cause i opened the office for the first time and couldn find the !@$%^% lights.

anyway, work was good, as my new supervisor, the architect in charge, richard, showed me the way and guided me.

i learn stuffs. and did door schedule until i was quite high.

that resulted in me not sleeping for the next 31 hours as i went out, dota-ed, gamed, went out. and finally ko-ed for 16 straight hours!

alright. work later, im up pretty early, im looking forward to this week, as thurs is submission for schedules i guess.

when i get to post, its usually when i get freetime, or i cant think of anything to do.

so now at this wee hours. i am able to blog thanks to yesterday being a day when i could knock off work early.

its quite startling, working experience as an intern.

first day when i reach the office, after all the orientation stuff, i was "summoned" to a meeting
with my supervisors, and learnt that, for the next 2 weeks, i'll be working on peranakan museum.

its quite relishing actually. i guess what a senior architect told me was quite true. not many people get to work with museums (conservation projects.)

i wasnt quite ready on the first day, having to work overtime. its quite lonely in the office, cant actually find anyone that i can relate to, since all are working on different projects. theres this other intern, from sp i think, but i guess hes leaving next week.

the previous intern before me, i quite respect her work and style, from reading the things she writes, and gave me a reality check.

Can i really make it out in this industry? i feel very inferior when i compare myself to the other colleagues.

But, i saw this line. Hope only dies the day you give up.

so yeah. i will practice more drafting, and hope i learn more things.

just realised my drafting skills are very limited, to just basic tools and the universal tools - CTRL C, CTRL V.

haha. yesterday was a great work day, as in i got more exposure about the projects. Im starting to understand things, slowly, but surely.

7 more weeks of grueling training and hardwork, and endurance.

i'll make it out alive!

IM SO NERVOUS@

i spent the last week of hols scurrying, dotaing, gemming, chionging. well bzing.

went out drink 2 times, went for award and promos, help out for linkamania, go out celebrate stuff and so many more@!

everyday when i sleep, i always dream of sip. im so scared out of my mind!!

i really hope every thing goes well tml. PPLSSS!!

i hope my colleagues are nice ppl too :)
