foreWORD
Surprisingly, there IS an issue this week. Even the editor himself was doubting the release of an issue this week. If you have followed the blog willingly or unwillingly, it is noted that the chief editor was having an emotional breakdown. He is now trying to tide over it, and we wish him the best. Lets get SIX underway!

h-LIFE
Last week, was linkcamp 2007. it was a success, H feels. Afterall, what is the most important thing that justifies success in Link Camp. Simple, the link have fun, they cannot sleep, they want to stay another day, they REMEMBER you. So if any of the committee members out there, reading this, GOOD WORK, AND KEEP IT UP!
first day of camp, H got his spider web which was done in a rush, destroyed by weiren and esther's group. somehow links love spider web. or rather, they hate it.

second day of camp, H had to eat 2 apples of lunch, and the after effect was a severely loss of appetite for lunch and dinner. He did not eat the packet food! But, this is good for him, its time seriously for him to start on a diet. during night time, that was when the emotions started stacking against him, and the cause of the moody period. lets not talk about it then.

Last day of camp, H looked like a terrorist. A modified water gun, with bullet sling, and grenades. Enough said, it was very fun.

what was weijian sir doing? O_O

Overall, link camp was quite fun, even though H made some mistakes here and there, its a good experience for him.

Tuesday, H went collect his log book from his office, and entered W architects for the last time, maybe? and he went on a shopping spree. We took down his buys.

Comic x3 - $15
Shaver - $12.90
Cream - $7
Jeans - $20
Long sleeve shirt - $39
Wallet - $29
Total Expenditure - $122.90
After which, wednesday, went to Vil.lage restaurant and heeren with the iad people, shared with zelroy lin kimqi the meal. H then decided to join zelroy kenneth xin ni, and taibin, with michelle and her ang moh friend to clubbing. At first decided to go Zouk, but the place was freaking crowded. it was not even 10pm, and the queue stretched at least 2km long. ended up in Mos, where H forgot about all his worries for one night only and danced till his heart's content, which is when kenneth gay kai min got his wallet pickpocketted, and did not scream.
So ended up in police station with him to make a police report(no i dint take his wallet. i swear it was not me) Incidentally syafiq gave him a shirt from bangalore that reads. No money, No job, No girlfriend, No Problem!
And now his nick is, No money, No job, No girlfriend, No wallet, NO PROBLEM! (his wallet contained IC, Driving licence, Ez link, Atm, Debit card, Credit card, $300 + cheque.)
So now total expenditure is -
$122.90 -
Meal - $22
Cover - $15
Total - $159.90

This is the wanted poster outside MOS now. hmm. this person actually looks familiar...

Thursday, H went to pray for a new start, lets hope :)
Friday, which is today, H summitted his SIP report finally, 30 pages long. and went for dinner at makansutra at explanade with members of GPA, Gay Partnership Architects, reputed to be the lousiest film in the history of architecture. members include, zelroy lin kim qi, kenneth gay kai min, syafiq the hairless banglah, mervino gaydi.
anyway went dinner with elroy fiq yuze. had a pathetic portion of chili crab, next time must go no signboard eat. That one is heaven.
After which, went to explore architecture (2nd visit, 1st one was to changi airport) with team kovalent (yuze, syafiq, H), to National Museum of Singapore, originally done by CPG consultants, but restored, and added new extension recently by W architects.
It was an eye opener trip, the way history and past connects with the future and technology is easily conveyed through the transition of spaces. The rotunda is a grand spectacle. A triple volume space that is so grand that even the president would have marvelled.
The new extension showcased the future of Singapore Architecture, while holding the heritage of the past together.
Fantastic.
