the marathon continues.

so long nvr update!

maybe cos due to the fact that i have been buzying doing work, work and work...

last fornight's disaster is becoming a sweet dream for me.

on national day eve, went pitstop cafe, 28 of us, to celebrate dearest yi er's bdae.

very enjoyable, think we almost drowned the whole cafe with our voices, with our celebrations.

haha.

after that chilled out at macs @ circular a while before zhao-ing home.

the next day, had a fantastic day out as well.

with some of my batchmates. although lots couldnt come, i believe we had an enjoyable outing that day, kite flying!! how long since i last flown a kite!

and im really amazed how high our kite flew! once our team(me, clarence, edwin, yl) got the technique right, our first kite flew AWAY! so there was this joke about the kite landing in time for the nat day parade.

2nd kite our team bought, amazing.. we just flew the kite high and beyond, tie to a tree and have a picnic and laugh at the other team!(yc, zaidi, suyin)

at ard 7, edwin went off, and we went to opposite the floating platform to join the crowd to watch the parade and fireworks.

fantastic view of the fireworks although sadly we dint manage to catch the parade. after that, went home in a rush as next day got interim pin up, and havent done a shit yet.

but as usual you know, i did not get any work done! i just went home, bathe, sleep, wake up like.. 5am to do work. When i woke up, the contents from the indian art book i have been reading suddenly started relating to me, its as if a concept started to take place right in front of me!

it was really exciting to have a concept that i thought was good, and most of all, something that i would normally wouldnt have thought of.

i will update my work at the end of this week, which is the end of part 1 of our major project 3.

So, went the interim pin up, was quite confident, and thought i presented alright. Derek accepted my idea, and off to the weekend!

Saturday, seriously was slacking, and went school around 1pm to do work with yuzi and kenny. did manage to do finish the brainless work.(old plans and sections drafting) and went off to orchard to meet huda and co for swensen dinner. pretty ordinary. saw jimmy on my way there.

very coincidental, he was going dinner at swensen with his friends too! so we had dinner, then parted, as everyone was feeling tired.

the next day, woke up and chionged my stuff.. odd thing is that i just couldnt concentrate. only did finish half a proposal, and chatted/slept whole day.

then, monday finally school!

went school and derek had a shocking news for us. DO NOT REMOVE THE PARTI WALLS!

actually i sort of agree, removing the parti walls will cause the shophouse to lose its significance and we might as well do a bungalow instead.

I spent half the day brainstorming and sketching for a new layout to align my concept with, and manage to start my model making that day, did abit, brought home, slept, woke up at 6am today to do my model.. did half of it, and went school for consultation.

Although i was confident about my scheme, i dint expect it to go down so well with derek. Afterall, hes a recognised person from the industry, and does not give the "go" sign as often. So, when he told me to go ahead, i was happy, believe he was too. and spent whole day do model..

almost finished already by the time im typing this. left external stairwell touch up here there, and im done. shall do tomorrow morning when i wake up early again...

otherwise.. p3 is becoming a smooth journey for me.. actually too smooth.. im rather scared that something will crop up...
